How to chart/plot date-driven events, like daily registrations.

I'm apparently a spreadsheet idiot. I can't figure out something which I'm sure is really really basic and everyone's already done it. I'm just stuck.

I have a list of things that have happened by date - sometimes with multiple events on one date, and sometimes with no events for several days.

I'm trying to visually chart/plot this data so I can visually see a timeline of all the events, with Y-axis = # of events, and X-axis being a full date-range with no gaps for dates that weren't part of the original spreadsheet. It would also be great to see the rise/fall of other columns in the spreadsheet, like the number of people who "paid" vs "unpaid." Here's a copy of the columns with some row/cell data for example. Again, I'm looking to plot this data into a timeline (just like you'd see looking at website activity and daily visits in Google Analytics, or daily sales or registration data from any analytics software.
