iTunes Match doesn't finish...

I am so frsutrated with iTunes Match on my Mac. iMac, laptop, iPhoen whatever I can't get it to sync...

It just keeps timonhg out on my iMac whaich is the central computer on my network. It worked prefectly until recently when I moved to OS7.1. Now it just sits and looks at me and doesnt complete the first scan of 'sending information ot Apple'

Any ideas?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

First, shut down all the computers and iOS devices. Then restart the internet modem and any Wi Fi routers on the network. Power on the computers and open iTunes; let the scan run until it finishes. Then power on the iOS devices.
