Difficulty connecting to 5GHz network

Dear.

I have a MacBook Pro 13 "with Mac OS X 10.9.2 installed Maverick.

Since I bought this machine come having trouble connecting it via wifi to my router ASUS RT-N56U Dual 2.4 / 5GHz.

Sometimes when you turn it does not see the 5GHz network somehow. I need to disable and re-enable the wireless connection several times and to make matters worse I found that when using a USB HUB 3.0 port connected to my Notebook this connection is not established at all. I need to disconnect the HUB, connect the wireless network and then connect the HUB again.

Interestingly if you use it to connect to a router Airport APPLE everything works normally.

Would have any idea what might be happening? If it was incompatible believe would be nowhere even connect.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.
