Cannot Connect to Internet via Mac on Airport Extreme Base Station

Good evening Community -

I just bought an Airport Extreme Base station (the last step in my conversion to Apple products from PC, NetGear, etc.)

The base station is setup pretty much just fine - I connected my Apple TVs, iPhone, iPad, etc., and PC. I also connected my iMac to the network, and I know it is connected fine because my AppleTV is able to find and play my movies through my iTunes.

Here is the problem - ALL devices (so far) can connect to the internet for browsing just fine, but the iMac won't?!

I have tried Safari, Chrome, etc., all to no avail - it just thinks on whatever page I try (yes, I have tried multiple) and then times out with the "Unable to connect to internet" message.

Any suggestions on what might be going wrong?

Thanks for any help...I tried reading this post to get it to work, but the post seems to have been deleted.

Check your network that you are getting the same IP address range as the computers that do work.. same router address and particularly same DNS.

Local Network is ok but internet fails is normally a gateway (what apple call router) or dns issue.

Are you using wireless or ethernet to the AE?
