Itunes Store - Access/Updating Apps Problems

Trying to update some applications and when asked to verify my account/passwork etc the email displayed is not my email address etc?


How do i do I go about changing the email address so I can use my own email address and associated password etc?

Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID

Whose account downloaded those apps from the store ? If they were downloaded by the other person's account then they will be tied to that person's account, and only their account will be able to download updates to them - you would need to delete those apps (which will also delete their content) and buy/download them with your account for you to be able to download future updates to them.


If they were downloaded by your account then try tapping on the id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app and then log back in and see if they then show your id in Updates.
