Q: Apple TV set up with new wifi

We have changed our router and so now out iPhone  remote won't connect with the Apple TV.  We have lost our apple remote. In order to re-connect the Apple TV with the wifi do we need to buy a New apple remote?

Apple TV, Mac OS X (10.6.4)

Just update the settings of your New Router's SSID and Passkey to what you had set for your old router.  The AppleTV was programmed to connect to a certain network SSID with a certain Passkey.  Your AppleTV doesnt care if the old network originally used a Netgear router and the network is now using a Belkin router.  Your AppleTV should find the familiar network SSID and connect to that network with the Passkey it used to use.

After that, have your iPhone join that wifi network and you should be in business.
