Cannot send email- pls help

Same here. Cannot send from IPhone or IPad . Going to outgoing but IPhone and IPad outgoing folders have different items inside. Depends on where I sent from.

I am having the same problem. Mail works on my macbook pro but will not send via the cloud on my iphone 5 or my ipad air. I don't want to delete the account from the devices unless it is absolutlly necessary. Shocked more people are not having this issue.

I, too, am having the same problem, as are others around the world. In another discussion, I read that Apple is aware of it and trying to fix -- but no delays were indicated. Rather frustrating, isn't it ?

Hello. I've the same problem. I erase my iCloud account and put it again but doesn't solve the problem.

I seem to have the same problem, I sent an email (iCloud account) from my iPhone 4s yesterday and it is still sending today. I've turn the phone off, I've done a turn off reset, I've tried this multiple times. From my Laptop I don't see the outgoing email, it's just on my phone. Is there any way to force quit sending this email?

I've deleted my messages in my outbox on my phone. Just go to Mailboxes:Outbox where you will find the forever sending email. Edit to delete. Several of my limbo items have recently gone though so hopefully apple is solving the issue.

The Edit button is grey out and won't let me access that command. Everything seems to be jammed with the sending wheel spinning away

Hello again, for what it's worth, I just spoke to an Apple Care person, who had me delete several e-mail accounts on the iPhone that I don't use anymore, then (with his help) I re-initialised the phone. Now, I am able to send e-mails from my @me.com address (which I hadn't been able to do since yesterday).
