Can I connect my Xbox 360/Xbox One/PS4 to my Macbook Pro?

Hello

I just got my mac in March. I got the best one that I could aside from the HDD upgrade. I have the 15 inch 2.6 GHZ Intel Core i7 with 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 and

NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB running mavericks. Is there a way to use the HDMI port on it to play games?

.

MacBook Pro

The MacBook Pro does not support the option to be used as an external display (also called Target Display mode). The only Mac which supports it is the iMac.

You can use a Late 2009 or Mid 2010 27-inch iMac as a display for your Xbox 360 by using a special adapter like the Kanex XD. It is not compatible with any other Mac and it is not compatible with Xbox One or PlayStation 4.

The first one easycap is pretty cheap and seems to work as long as you use the compnent cables. I'd be taking quite a hit in quality though. Anyone have any experience with the 2nd? Or know if it works woth newer macs? Seems a bit older.

I haven't tried this yet, but I plan to. Download the Windows 10 ISO and partition your hard drive. Then use Apple’s Boot Camp Assistant.

If you are running El Capitan then you don't need the separate USB drive.
