I have a hardware which I don't have wirless connection possibilitys on, I can't cable it due to my router is closed up in a closet at the other side of the apartment (to much work).

My solution I have thought about: Router > Wirless - to an Airport Express > Cable to harware in order to get connection.

However, the question to all this, is the Aiport Express the correct product for my needs? I have read about it, but still have thoughts on how it REALLY works.

Good to know:

- The hardware I wan't to connect can't install 3rd part software; it's only for music.

- I own Macbook Pro (for setup of Aiport Express I guess?)

Thanks, for the help.

This solution should work. In this configuration the AirPort Express will be performing as a wireless Ethernet bridge. That means that it would be configured to join an existing wireless network and provide network/Internet connectivity, via its LAN port, to a wired network client.
