LP9 has phantom audio

A consistent problem with LP9 this. I delete audio and I can still hear it!

I've tried the following remedies, all to no avail:

* Create new teack and copy wanted audio onto it.

* Use automation to duck the offending 'phantom region' of audio.

* Merge wanted audio.

* Added fades around the 'phantom region'.

The biggest issue is where I get clicks and absolutely MUST get rid of them.

This has got so bad I'm seriously missing using tape and analogue gear.
