magic mouse serial number

i find my magic mouse serial number but i can not insert to check support on apple web ! there is an error occur shows wrong serial number, actually here in help page, magic muse serial is 14 character but mine is 16 !!! pleas help me !!

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7)

Apple does not maintain a database of small peripheral devices. You cannot "check" it.
