Anybody else experiencing the loss of Dolby Digital Surround Sound output on the Apple TV device, with the installation of 6.1 Firmware?

Anybody else experiencing the loss of Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound output of Apple TV, after the 6.1 Firmware upgrade? I Googled the problem and it seems that many are experiencing the same thing. I spent a lot of time troubleshooting the issue, on my Yamaha Receiver/Amplifier. It is indicating a "PCM" (Pulse Code Modulation), instead of "Dolby Digital", as it used to, before 6.1 was installed. This is from Netflix movies/series I have viewed before, with
DD 5.1. The Yamaha still receives, and indicates 5.1 from the DVR that is connected.

So far, Apple has not advised, or acknowledged this issue, that I am aware.

Any comments, or help would be greatly appreciated.
