Q: I used my dads apple id to download things and only used free apps because the card he set his account up with is no longer in use and when i tried to reddem a voucher it asked me for security questions but he doesnt remember them or the email help???

So i got an itunes gift voucher and this whole time i have been using my dads apple id but he doesnt have the card that the id uses anymore so he doesnt know the security questions and i havent bought anything from the appstore i have only ever got free apps and i dont know what to do because i have a £15 gift voucher and i want to use it but my dad also doesnt remember the password to the email account that the whole apple id uses to send security questions to and im so stuck because i want to use this but i cant!!!

    He needs to ask Apple to reset his security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for his country, and filling out and submitting this form.


    They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying his identity.

    But he doesnt remember the email or the password for the apple id adress and its so confusing and i already redeemed the voucher on this account and im so bloody fuming and stuck!! Please help!!

    Either he or you needs to take this matter up with Apple. The people on these boards don't have inside access to the iTunes Store servers and can't help with it except by providing ways to contact those who do.
