Q: why cannot install Mavericks on my 2008 Mac with 10.7.5

Hi there .

I have all the required criteria for my update to Mavericks and yet I cannot install it . even the previous version couldnt install it

can you please assist ?

    Please verify the model you have by clicking the Apple logo and selecting "About this Mac" then "More Info". What does it state for Model Identifier?

    Only the Aluminum MacBook 2008s can run Mavericks.

     

    If you have a white or black one, Lion is the max.
