If I erase and sync, will all of my photos be erased?

I recently got a new iphone and my mom accidently synced it with her computer, so now I can't sync it with mine without getting the "This iphone is synced with another computer, would you like to erase and sync with this computer" message. I've already transfered all my pictures onto the iphone and I really don't want them to be erased, same with contacts. If I erase and sync, will it only erase and syn the music? If there is a chance that my pictures and contacts will be erased, is there a way to prevent losing them without saving all of my photos to my computer?

Pictures can not be transferred to an iPhone, they can be synced to an iPhone but will still reside on the computer they were synced from.

Attempts to sync to a new/different computer will force iTunes to wiped all contents of the device and replace with contents from the new computer.

Do you really need someone to tell you that erase and sync will do exactly that?

Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service, simply sync them back.

Pictures taken with the device are designed to be regularly copied off the device to a computer for safe keeping.

I understood the "erase and sync" part of the message iTunes gave me, but as to what context would be deleted, it was quite vague. I've seen a lot of others asking this question and I could never find an answer that helped. I didn't transfer my pictures to the phone from a computer, I used an app in the App Store to transfer photos between two devices. I just backed up the pictures on my computer and hit "erase and sync", and it worked and nothing was erased.

There is a way. I have my iphone in pieces right now and can't plug it into my computer right how to look at how to do it, but there is a way to disassociate the phone with your mothers account. Keep searching online and you will find your answer, otherwise be patient and when I get my phone back together I will have a look and tell you how to do it.
