How to burn continuous cd with no gaps between songs?

The iTunes burning capability is very bare bones.

When burning audio CDs, iTunes lets you set the gap between songs as low as zero seconds. However, that still leaves the embedded silence at the beginning or end of any track, so is probably not good enough for what you are looking for.

The right way to make a continuous mix is to use an audio editor such as Audacity. When it is done, export it as a single continuous MP3, add it to iTunes, and burn.
