How do I uninstall old print drivers on Mac OS 10.6.8?
After installing the latest driver, the old one is still there.

The new download should over-write the old one. What format does it take; is it a file or folder. If so, right click on it and select move to trash.
They should be in the Hard Drive level Library/Printers.
In Library/Printers/Lexmark/Drivers there is a file called Lexmark Printer Utility which apparently is the print driver. I'm wondering if I should delete a folder entitled '2007' which is located at Library/Printers/Lexmark/2007. The 2007 folder also contains a Lexmark Printer Utility and also contains a file called 'LexmarkCUPSDriver'. Lately my printing problem has been this: I try to print and the printer does not respond even though the print job shows up in the print queue as printing. For a short time in the print queue window an error message appears which says: "LexmarkCUPSDriver failed to read raster data", after which both the error message the print job disappear from the queue.
Try moving all the drivers you found to your desktop, then delete and re-add the printer.
