My ipad ran out of charge, whilst re-charging, I entered the security number and the apple logo appeared, my wallpaper appeared briefly but no apps then the Apple log appeared again and this cycle continues. I have tried updating by syncing with itunes on the PC but it states that the ipad is not a trusted device, it now has 32% of charge but seems frozen in this sequence...help...please. All updates have been installed to date.

Follow the steps in the article below to put your iPad into recovery mode and then use iTunes to restore it. As long as you have a back up, then you can put that back up back on once the restore is complete.

my ipad 2 on ios7.1 was stuck on the apple logo . i tried doing a factory reset and itunes downloaded ios8. the reset progress progress bar was displayed on the ipad . however once this bar was complete ,instead of coming on it went back to displaying the apple logo .
any suggestions ?
