Apple is sending my reset-email to the wrong address!!!

I would like to reset my password for my Apple Id.

But, I forgot one of the security questions.

I follow the procedure:

- I requested the reset-email.

- I have access to the email registered with apple id

- the reset-email has not arrived

I tried couple of times.

But, below the security questions, it says it will send the reset email to the address c......@gmail.com

The thing is: I do NOT have any email like that registered with apple.

Is apple sending my reset-email to the wrong address??

What do I do? There is no link to report this directly to Apple, is there??

Thanks a lot to the community.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.

They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

My apologies.

I might not have been clear: I understand the security question importance. This is not the issue.

The issue is:

- apple has two emails for me (which I registered them myself) and I have access to both.

- But, apple is not sending the reset email to either of them, instead it seems it is sending to a 3rd address which is not registered under my account.

That is my concern: somebody else is getting my reset-password email.

I will try your suggestions to report this problem.

Thanks.
