I already verified my apple i.d on the support email address i provide because i havent received an email on the primary email i provide but then when i try to down load something and then i enter my apple id and password , it sas its not yet verifiedd

In my new iphone 4s i created my apple i.d, i successfully done it but then why i try to download something when asked to enter my apple id password a message will come out saying that my apple i.d. has not been verified even thou i already successfully verified it in my support email because i havent received any email in my primary email address. Why i have not received a verification email in my primary email address only in my support email but then the verification wont still work out
