Massive iMessage problem after port

Hi!

My iMessage does not activate the ported phone number.

During the login the right phone number is there and after it I am only available with my email adress.

There is no phone number present.

If I use a non ported simcard with an original number it works within seconds.

Apple says the activation sms does not arrive.

My bill says something diffrent. All Sms were sent to activate iMessage.

I can make calls and standard sms with my ported number.

Facetime and iMessage activation is unsuccessfull after a few hours.

Any suggestions where to start? I did everything what you can find in the internet.

It seems that the number port is not well done. Could it be?

I am not that deep into those processes to know where these SMS could be.

Greetings

Well normally iMessage should recognize your phone number automatically from your sim card. You say another sim card is working well in this regard but not the Sim card with your ported number. I would try the following:

1. Turn iMessage OFF

1. Take you Sim card out and clean well taking care not to scratch it. A clean dry soft cloth, for example.

2. Put it back in being careful not to touch the contact surface with your fingers

3. Turn iMessage ON

4. Go to Receive at and see if your number is now there and make sure it is checked. You might have to wait a few minutes for verification of your Apple ID.

If that does not do the trick, I would try to get a replacement sim card from your carrier as the one you have could be damaged or not making good contact once inside the phone.

I did everything you wrote and it does not solve my problem.

On the iMessage login there appears my number and my email.

Both as they should be.

On send and receive my number does not appear and the process

starts again. If I wait a few hours I will get an error message that there

was an error during activation.

I play this game since February and no one can help.

A new sim card does not help.

My provider checked everything twice. SMS is active and delivererd.

I pay for every single activation message and the HAVE been sent!!

I also changed my iPhone because of a maybe malfunction.

It does not help.

I only can see the temporary number under send and receive that I got before the

number port. It is still there and grayed out.

Why is it still there?

Could it be that the phone number and the iPhone are connected in a special way?

iMessage is deactivated on the "old" iPhone.

Since February I get not a helpful information.

Apple plays the ball to my provider and the provider plays it back.

What else could I do to come a step closer to a solution??
