After the update my iphone 5 is useless and unresponsive. I only see lil squares on my screen and cant do anything. It *****!!!
My 1 year warranty just ended last January, went to the center and was advised my motherboard is busted and i need 400$ to have it replaced--- seriously???
Dont update your iphone 5 unless you want a useless phone or spend a LOT of cash...

Yeah exactly the same issue. Already went to my local provider and they told me that i need to pay 300-400 bucks if they can fix it but if they can't i need to pay 800 bucks for the replacement.
The funny thing bout it is i got it from my local provider. Didnt even try to unlock or jailbreak it- not once. Didnt drop it got it wet.

Going to sound mean but happy that someone else has this issue. I've came to the conclusion that it is Software based and not hardware, as when it happens my volume buttons stop working as well. Genius Bar people don't know what they're doing, sadly.
