Anyone else? Music Pandora playing with no app

Today I was listening to pandora and went to close some apps and accidentally closed and closed pandora, but I didn't notice for a couple minutes. Figuring I opened some app that blocked the music playing I pulled the settings up from the bottom(can't remember the name right now) and it said Pandora, so I pressed play mad it went, with no app open. After some experimenting I got it to repeat multiple times by opening pandora and playing music, double clicking the home button to end it, let the music stop, pull up the thing from the bottom and pressed play under where it souls say pandora. This isn't a problem, Infact it is kinda neat, but has anyone else had this happen? I am using a ipad 4 running ios 7.1. It appears to kinda work the same with the music app, but seems to take two clicks.
