Updated to 10.9.2, having issues with sleep and sleep timer functions

Since updating my iMac (2.93 GHz Intel Core i7) to OS X 10.9.2, neither display nor computer go to sleep with the timer. Must be done manually. Also, more than once, I was unable to "wake" my computer.

Any solutions yet?

Sometimes restoring default settings can help ..

Open System Preferences > Energy Saver then click: Restore Defaults

If those settings work, try setting the timer.
