my wifi on my iMac does not always connect on first start up and have to restart

I had purchased an IMac about 2 weeks ago now!and I've been experiencing some wifi issues with it.I will turn on my computer and when I go to open safari there is no internet connection,I restart and finally get connection.This has been going on pretty much since I purchased it.

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013), iOS 7.1

Also, make sure that your Wi-Fi router has been updated to most current firmware as well as the settings optimized for performance.

If any of the above proves to be of no help it would be a good idea to utilise your AppleCare warranty - you get three months free telephone support (3 years if you purchased the extended AppleCare) - they will hopefully be able to help you resolve the problem.
