I took out 3 hard drives fom my 2008 MacPro and put them into external enclosures. However, now my macbook will not see them. How do I get the MacBook to see these drives?

How do you connect between Macbook and external drives? Via USB or Firewire?
Via USB to the external drive
Where does the enclosure get its power? If this is a bus powered enclosure there may not be enough power getting to the drive.
If the MP has an Apple RAID card, the drives are SAS and won't work in an external enclosure.
The external drives have their own power supply.
After talking to a Apple tech, he mentioned that I should not be trying to use them in the external drives if my MacBook will not see them. There may be something wrong with the drives, that can be fixed when installed in back into the MacPro. Or the drives may be shot. At any rate, I am waiting for my MacPro to be repaired before I press on.
If early 2008 Mac Pro is alive, why don't you try target disk mode if they mount?
