Any fixes for the rMBP creaking?

Just got my Late 2013 13" Retina MacBook Pro, and this thing is super creaky. If I rest my hands next to the trackpad (while typing) it creaks as if the chassis is an old peice of wood. This is ridiculous, if I pay this much money for a notebook it should be dead silent! I have an appointment with the genius bar, but I want this notebook to last me the next four years of college and thyis creaking will drive me crazy. Has apple released any statements about this? Luckily I have apple care so I will probably just ask for a new one, will they give me a new one right in the store though? I can't go without one.

The only creaking that I hear is if I place my MacBook Pro on a creaky surface. There is nothing that I am aware of that would creak (in the computer) when your hand is rested on the surface.

well there are hundreds of threads with people having the same issue, I'm not alone and its a huge problem. If you move the notebook at all the creaking happens, if I pay $2000 for a notebook I expect perfection.

Since I am here quite a bit and have never seen anything remotely close to the issue you posted about, I would be interested in the links to the "hundreds of threads" (or a few, at least).

Interesting how you never answered after I blantantly proved you wrong, anyways it was a huge problem so I brought it to the Genius Bar. They said this was a problem they had been having and about 1 in 70 had this problem. They exchanged right then and there and my new one doens't creak at all.
