If you could identify the computers by Model Identifier (iMac4.1, etc) and the OS X version running within them, an answer may be forthcoming. Since the hardware and system software specifications changed over the many years iMac computers (PowerPC and Intel-based models) have been made, how they connect, network, etc has changed somewhat, too.


{Details are very important. This is a little more technical

than buying replacement car tires. You need to tell us...}


Should you need some information about which models were iMac, their shapes, history and specification, there is a good degree of all specifications for ALL iMac models here.

Also, if you are able to look into the 'About this Mac' in the

Apple Menu dropdown sub-menus, info appears there. And
