Q: audiobooks via itunes

I purchased several audiobooks a few years ago when I had an iphone and ipad. I went to android for a a stint, but I am back to using apple products. I want to download the audiobooks I purchased but it seems that I have to repurchase the books in order to download to my device. Is this accurate?

iPhone 4s (8GB), iOS 7.1

    Audiobooks are a one-time only download, so if you want to redownload them then you will need to pay (I believe that they are all supplied to Apple by audible.com, so I assume that it's them requiring the one-time only download). If you haven't got copies of them on your backup of your downloads/library then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a redownload : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
