10.9.2 Update

Since performin the 10.9.2 update the other day my laptop is running the fans constantly whilst I am on the internet and is getting very hot.

I have looked on here and have found other people hae had simular complaints.

My CPU is running at around 100-105 when safari is open.

It was suggested on a different discussion to restart safari which I have done with no success.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried an SMC reset?

Shutdown your MBP.

Make sure your power adapter is connected to your MBP.

Press/hold the left Shift +Control+Option and the power button at the same time for 3 seconds then release all at the same time.

Restart MBP.

Thanks for this suggestion I have just tried it but unless I did it wrong (possible) then it didn't work 😟
