All devices offline, find my iPhone??

My phone was recently stolen, I located it and once I found it, the phone turned off within minutes. I set a lost message and requested to play sound in the event they turned the phone back on. A whole day passed and then I checked iCloud again the following morning and it now says "All devices offline." What exactly does this mean? Is there hope for finding my phone?
