IPad2
My Ipad 2 has gone into recovery mode. I have tried to restore it, the update is downloaded but after extraction the restore fails with an error message 3194. i have reset the hosts file but still keep getting the same eror

Have you tried restoring it within a new user or computer? Also check the any security software that could potentially that could block access to Apple servers.
Error 3194, Error 17, or "This device isn't eligible for the requested build"
