Apple TV - Problem opening Home Sharing Photo Files

After downloading the latest version of ITunes on my PC, I added a new file w/pictures for home sharing. Now with home sharing turned on and my TV turned on, I can't view certain photo files on my TV (files that I used to be able to see & open up). I can see the files on my TV but when I select a file, the pictures do not appear on the TV to open up. I have no problem opening up other files to see. All files selected for home sharing are JPEG files so I don't understand why I can only view pictures on some files but not others. Help?
