I just purchased a new iMac with the magic trackpad. I love how it works, however, I am finding that the coldness of the aluminum is hard on my fingers and hand. Are there covers available, or suggestions for a home remedy?

I don't use a trackpad and I have no knowledge of the temperature of one ... but it crosses my mind that if you know anyone with a medical background ... surgical gloves may do the job. Alternately a chemist's wholesale outlet may oblige.
They are very sensitive, made of latex and you will need the powder free version.
Just a thought, probably daft as a brush, but you never know.
If you cover the trackpad or use gloves, it will not work. My only suggestion would be to use it in yoru warmest room (the metal, of course, will be at approximately room temperature.
