My speakers don't work after water damage?

Alright. So I have an Iphone 5s, its brand new. It was all working fine, then I dropped it in the toilet. (please save the "you're so stupid" comments, I know its stupid) After this, the sound doesnt play of my speakers anymore. When I go to settings and try to play ringtones, that works fine. It just stays stuck in "headphone" mode all the time. I tried looking in the headphone jack, and theres nothing blocking that up. The sound play fine through my headphones. I did the whole thing with leaving it in a bag with silica gel for a while and even then, it still didn't work. I have also tried repeatedly plugging in and unplugging the headphones several times, and that does nothing. I got it to work ONCE, but as soon as I plugged headphones in, then removed them, it got stuck in headphone mode again.

iOS 7.1

Sorry, Apple doesn't fix damage like this, & such is not covered by warranty. An out of warranty replacement is US $269. Make an appointment at any Apple store.

I had the same problem with my iPad air, the ring ton work, but no sound for videos or music, when I adjust the volume , the screen show headphone volume, so I put my iPad inside big bag of rice, covered with rice about 20 hours, the second day, my iPad volume work great. but make sure rice don't get inside the power connect area. I am so glad I don't have to spend a lot of money to fix it, but i still think the iPad just too fragile for a little water splash on it.
