I'm running out of icloud storage. I have a small iphone backup on icloud. For some reason my account shows I'm using 2.6 gig for mail. I have deleted every single email from every folder. No luck ! Looks like I will have to go back to gmail since icloud shows full (even though it's actually empty )

Any ideas ?

The only thing I can think of that could cause this is iCloud storage buffering: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4873, which should correct itself when another iCloud feature needs to use the space.

Of course, it also may be a server glitch. You may need to contact iCloud support to have them look into this for you if it doesn't clear up soon (http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/).
