Is an iPhoto book cover narrower than the inside pages?

I'm using iPhoto 9.5.1 on OS X 10.9.2

Why is it the 'Cover' of my book I'm putting together shows the right side cut off a tad.

For example, below, you'll see my cover shows on the right a gal with a red dress, but you don't see much of it.

Below, on an inside page, the same photo shows more of her red dress.

Thanks!

Probably

And probably depends on theme you choose

and probably depends on the layout you choose

Too many variables for anyone to answer

But is it a problem? if Before ordering your book you preview it using this method - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1040 - and save the resulting PDF for reference - the delivered book will match it.

and are happy with the results then order - if you are not then do not oder ut make adjustments so yu are happy

Thank you for the repsonses.

I did contact Apple support by phone today and they transferred me to the iPhoto team.

I had a question for them on why the "Save as PDF / View Book" wasn't looking the way I expected it to.

They said that what I see in iPhoto itself is what I should use as my guide to what my iPhoto book will look like.

I mentioned I was using the "Save as PDF" and "Preview Book" options in iPhoto to guide me in what the final book might look like - but they told me that was wrong, since viewing the resulting PDF in Acrobat or another program could change the look of the book and cause the white space I was seeing to appear.
