Online restore, Help..!

Hi, I owned a Mac Mini 2010 model and updated to Mavericks OS. Now i erased my Hardisc and expecting i can either Restore online or using my Recovery Disc bck then, But My recovery Disc is not working, neither do i know how to restore online. Now my Mac Mini is wholly Blank with only limited choices available. Luckily i still can access to Apple Support online to ask for suggestion/Help. TQ..
