My Nano has frozen completly

How Can I unfreeze my Nano 7? I have tried everything in the manual, my laptop is not even recognising the device?

iPod nano, Windows 7

Thanks for the question. You are definitely on the right track. If your iPod is not recognized in iTunes for Windows when attempting to restore it, see this resource:
