in PREVIEW color adjusting tool very slow to respond

Hi!

After updating to Mavericks when using "preview" application, the color adjustment tool is very slow to respond, for

example if I change the brightness, color temperature, sharpness etc, the actual change can take up to 10 or even 15 seconds

to take place.

By using a program called "gfx card status" I can force the MacBook to use the "dedicated graphics card" when using "preview"

which helps a lot (even thou still slow)

I Have a 2013 15" macbook pro retina 16Gb RAM and a 2012 Mac Mini with dedicated ghraphics, both computers behave exactly the same way.😮

With Mounting Lion Preview worked very smoothly.

Any ideas how to get Preview more responsive?
