Cannot Find Folder

I am unable to locate a folder on my Macbook. This folder is named "2" and I created it a while ago, before it was sitting on my desktop but I have since moved it. Whenever I save a Word document it defaults to save in this folder that I cannot locate anywhere. I have tried to use the search criteria in finder to no avail. Whenever I search for anything I have placed in this folder I am unable to find it as well in both spotlight and finder. Please help me figure this out, I tried to unhide all of my folders using terminal and this has not worked for me either. Where could it be? I have literally looked everywhere.
