It MAY be because of Your INTERNET CONNECTION / SIGNAL

Try FORGETTING the NETWORK then Connect Again.

i tried that, re-entered the password and its still showing the network, it isnt showing the check mark, and when i tap the network it says 'unable to join the network'

and i'm in the same room as the router so connection and signal arent a problem
