This is such a stupid question but I cannot remember how to get a full view of photo clips in FCP X. This is what I am getting and I want large clips.
I just went blank on how to change this.
Any help would be appreciated.

I tried to open FCP X 10.1.1 to capture a larger shot of my IPhoto clip problem, and now I have a bigger problem.
The minute I open up FCP X, I get the spinning wheel and it will not stop.
I even tried to open FCP X after disconnecting my secondary drive where all my bundles are located so the program would open a blank event. That did not help.
I had a slow running machine a few days ago so I trashed the following:
com.apple.FinalCut.LSSharedFileLIst.plist
com.apple.FinalCut.plist
com.apple.FinalCut.UserDestination.plist.
Is that the problem?

I believe you trashed the right files. Was FCP closed when you did that?

Use Preference Manager from Digital Rebellion to trash your preferences again with the application. Try launching without the external drive. How is it connected?

FCP X was closed.
External drive was connected by Thunderbolt.

Thank you sooo much. I downloaded the Digital Rebellion Preference Manager. Re-trashed the plists with it ......everything works perfectly!
Guess what. I now have regular clips in my IPhoto window as well!
