Apr 15, 2014 7:56 AM in response to mina92by babowa,Sorry to hear of your problem; however, these are user to user forums intended for technical questions. We can't help with the problem you're having; I'd suggest you take it to an Apple store for a second opinion. However, having read the warranty, that appears to be the standard procedure: your phone will be replaced.

Apr 15, 2014 9:33 AM in response to mina92by varjak paw,If you purchased the iPhone new eight months ago, then it will still be under warranty and will be replaced at no charge to you unless the technician determines that there has been damage to the iPhone (such as being dropped). If you bought the iPhone used and it's now out of warranty, then of course you have to pay for service, just as you would with anything else you own that's beyond the included warranty.
As babowa said, Apple except in limited circumstances does not repair iPhones, they replace this. This is common in the electronics industry with devices of this type.
Regards.
