Q: Complaining about the customer support

I actually have a problem with my phone which I got 8 months ago that the power botton does not work properly and I was asking to get it fixed by apple as it is definitely a manufacturer problem. So I called Chris one of the supervisors and actually he did nothing to me. His offered was to pay 269 $ to get it replaced..

So the question here is that's right. If I am willing to pay 270 $ will I use an Iphone again????   if the power buttom broke after 8 months of usage, what else is going to happen after 2 years of working??!!!

I definitely will never use an Iphone again because they started to save the cost and use some low standard materials.

iPhone 5, iOS 7.1

Sorry to hear of your problem; however, these are user to user forums intended for technical questions. We can't help with the problem you're having; I'd suggest you take it to an Apple store for a second opinion. However, having read the warranty, that appears to be the standard procedure: your phone will be replaced.

If you purchased the iPhone new eight months ago, then it will still be under warranty and will be replaced at no charge to you unless the technician determines that there has been damage to the iPhone (such as being dropped). If you bought the iPhone used and it's now out of warranty, then of course you have to pay for service, just as you would with anything else you own that's beyond the included warranty.

As babowa said, Apple except in limited circumstances does not repair iPhones, they replace this. This is common in the electronics industry with devices of this type.

    Regards.
