Pages version/s and MacOS version?

Hm, it is weird it is stuck. What have you tried to solve the problem? Does the app do this with any document or is it just one particular document?

There is a dialog box open somewhere on your screen waiting for you to dismiss it.

Find it. It may be under something or on another display.

The same started happening with me today. It happens on opening Pages, so not a dialog box anywhere else as nothing is opening. I can go on to open a blank document, but the diaglog box is still on the top of the document, new message is "There are no warnings for this document", but I still can't get rid of the box

Try hitting Return or Enter and see what happens.

I still think it is a dialogue somewhere waiting in a response.

Tried all that. Closed down pages. Rebooted the computer. Opened various existing documents...

Can you get to an Apple Store and show them an example of it happening?

Or at least take a screen snap, command shift 3.

I've fixed it!

Open a document, doesn't matter what, then on the top menu, click on view, then hide warnings.
