Sending photo with yahoo - please, Mail is not good.

How do people manage with Mail to send several photos? It is taking me hours to send just 2 to New Zealand. Any help as to how I can send photos from my iPhoto section through Yahoo would be most helpful? Thanks.

Another question is that the Apple store advised me not to enter a password for my iMac Snow Leopard. So far I have not - but I want to know if this is good advice - it keeps asking me for one?! But for the moment I don't want to get into the keychain situation which Ifind complicated - oh so many passwords to remember.

You can send multiple photos on Yahoo by sending them as attachments. You can also provide links to your photos by using photo sites like Photobucket or the software Dropbox. If it is taking you hours to send photos, what type of internet connection do you have?

You do not need a password for your Mac if you do not want to. Most users have one if others have access to their computers or to protect sensitive information in case their computer is stolen. Keychain should not be asking you for a password if your computer is set up to not have one. Is it? It is not clear from your post.

To remember passwords, use a password manager.

I highly recommend 1 Password. After looking at several other options, I settled on 1Password. 1Password is a program that has browser extensions you can install for Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. When you get to a web site, you click on the extension, which knows you are at the web site, and it will then auto-fill and log on if preferences are set to do that. There is a version that works with Snow Leopard. You can download a trial version. If you need it for more than one computer, there is a 5 computer option on the web site. There is an IOS 6+ app which can sync with the computer version. It will also store credit cards, notes, software licenses, e-mail information, and other things. There are versions for older OSs, so you can sync information across multiple computers. Disclaimer - I receive no financial compensation for this recommendation.
