iPod Classic is not recognised by Windows

On device manager it shows the iPod and it shows a problem with device driver. When I try and re-install the device driver, Windows says it has found it but there is an error and says, "Access is Denied"?

I would first recommend completely uninstalling iTunes and all of it's components in the order specified in the article below. Once this is done download a new copy of iTunes and attempt to reinstall.
