Trying to use MY Apple ID in App Store
I am signed in under the right account as above, but when I go to the App Store for an update, it requests a password for another account.

Apps are forever associated with the Apple ID used to download or purchase them. When an update is available you must enter the password for the Apple ID used to purchase or download the app originally.
You can avoid this by deleting any apps that ask for the old Apple ID and password. Then download or purchase the app using your current active Apple ID.
That's the article I was talking about where I followed all the directions and it didn't help me.
I will try that next time. I was trying to update several at once, and there might have been one mixed in there that was from the other user. I just used his password, and it worked.
