Apr 15, 2014 2:05 PM in response to Axeman1020by southweststokie,Thanks for the reply. However, I can't turn off Find my iPad without being prompted for my old Apple ID, which is the source of the problem. How can I correct an erroneous iCloud ID on my iPad ?

Apr 15, 2014 2:11 PM in response to southweststokieby Axeman1020,What version of iOS are you running?
What exactly do you mean by your Apple ID is incorrect?
Are you saying you no longer have this Apple ID or did you just change it?

Apr 15, 2014 11:20 PM in response to Axeman1020by southweststokie,Apologies, we have a time zone issue.
iPad is running iOS 7.1
I keep getting a prompt to sign in for iCloud backup, but the sign in window is using a legacy Apple ID, with an old email address that is no longer in use. I can't change the mail address in this window.
I changed my Apple ID at the time I switched to another ISP. The rest of the iPad settings are showing my iCloud account as reflecting the new mail ID etc, and not the old one.
Apprecaite your help and insight
