I want to expand my network at home by connecting an airport extreme (802.11ac) to an air port express (802.11an). Will I lose power signal due to different versions (an X ac) ?

Sorry, but I cannot tell from the information in your post whether......
The AirPort Express is now your "main" router and the AirPort Extreme would be the "extender"
or
The AirPort Extreme is now your "main" router and the AirPort Express would be the "extender"
You also do not indicate whether.....
You plan to try to extend by having the "extender" connect to the main router using a wired Ethernet connection
or
You plan to extend by trying to have the "extender" connect to the main router wirelessly
Can you please clarify for us?
